Steel base variants
Bases made of galvanized sheet steel (minimum thickness 1.25 mm) are available in straight or splayed versions. We offer four standard heights: 15, 35, 50, and 75 cm. This type of base requires thermal insulation using mineral wool or polystyrene with a thickness of 40 mm.
PVC or GRP (laminate) upstands
For projects requiring alternative solutions, we offer PVC or GRP (laminate) upstands. These are available as straight designs (20 cm height) or splayed designs (15 or 30 cm height). A key advantage of these variants is that the upstand does not require additional thermal insulation, which significantly speeds up the installation process.
Frame mounting system
The upstand design features specially engineered corner cut-outs. These allow for the lightning-fast "push-fit" installation of a PVC capping frame once the mounting and flashing work is complete, ensuring an aesthetic and watertight finish.
Construction of the movable segment
The hatch leaf consists of a durable frame (made of PVC or aluminum) and an infill. We offer a choice of multiwall polycarbonate, solid polycarbonate, or acrylic in clear or opal (milky) versions. The cover shape can be flat or convex (dome), and the entire perimeter is secured by a sealing system that protects against water.
