Continuous rooflights

Continuous rooflights are longitudinal skylights installed on flat roofs or roofs with a slight pitch.
Geometry and variants
We offer these systems in two main shapes: arched and triangular (gabled). Each continuous rooflight can be equipped with additional functional modules—ventilation flaps for daily aeration of the building or smoke vents that protect the facility in the event of a fire.
Upstand construction
The construction is based on a robust upstand made of galvanized steel sheet with a thickness ranging from 1.5 to 3 mm. Its height is adjustable from 15 to 75 cm. To ensure proper thermal performance, the upstands are insulated with mineral wool, expanded polystyrene (EPS), or rigid PIR foam (insulation thickness from 5 to 12 cm).
Materials and framework
The framework of the continuous rooflight consists of aluminum profiles that combine lightweight design with high structural rigidity. For the infill, we use multiwall or cellular polycarbonate. In areas requiring enhanced fire safety, we install covers integrated with a special fabric, achieving NRO (non-fire-spreading) and BROOF(t1) classifications.
Dimensional parameters and resistance
Arched continuous rooflights can reach widths of up to 6 meters, while triangular versions are available up to 4.5 meters. These structures are designed to withstand high snow loads (up to 2500 N/m²) and heavy body impacts. They are also characterized by good thermal insulation—the heat transfer coefficient ($U$-value) for the entire product ranges between 1.1 and 2.5 W/m²K.
